WIN A FREE APRON HERE! Yay for 20!

We did it! We got to 20. Now I am supposed to give up the goods. Well my giveaway is kinda selfish. I thought about my favorite things. What would I want?

An apron of course. I love them. Can't get enough of them. They are great for everything.

I started wearing them everyday when Ronan decided to use me as a human napkin. I kept going to stores then realizing I was covered in some slime or another.

Aprons are good for cooking, cleaning, baby slime, crafts, and getting some (that is if you wear only the apron.)

What you do with it is up to you. However, this blogger will not be held liable for anything you make (treats or babies) in said apron.

Because we all have different taste, the winner will get to pick any apron $28.75 or less from this fine etsy crafter. Yay for handmade and homemade!

How do you enter?

For one entry: Be a Follower. Then comment on this post. Leave your name and why you should win.

For two entries: Get a friend to sign up as a new follower. Comment on this post again and let me know who your friend is.

Easy right?

Even family can win, because lets face it, they make up about 10 of the 20.

Thanks everybody.
-Rach

Hi Rachel, this is Amy Noorlander. I wasn't going to enter the competition because I thought, oh it's enough to see Ronan in pics and vids anytime I want and I don't need an apron. But then I went to the etsy site you linked and I peed myself because they were all too beautiful. So count me in on the drawing. I deserve it because you never visit Chicago so you owe me something!

Hello, my name is "Aunt" Lisa and I am a follower. Being able to see a bit of your life (something that would not be possible since we live so far away) that's like getting a present each time you Blog. I just wear an old shirt when I'm in the kitchen and use my boobs to dry my hands, the wet hand prints are just a bonus to get David to smile, I'm good :)

wliberty does not want an apron-it is his sweet wife! He just needs a bib!! Whops, did I say that? Well, he never reads the comments. But, back to the apron-my grandma and my mother always wore a home-made apron. If I had one then I would look like them and maybe I would cook as good as they did. Also, because they were such beautiful women, maybe Ronan got some of his cuteness from them- as he certainly also did get mega cuteness from the other side of his family, too. But, back to the apron-I did break my clavical and had a concussion and had staples in my head and Bill had a bummer back operation that hasn't healed yet and a jerk bumped into my unhealed clavical when Bill was suffering in the hospital and Bill took a grandson fishing and because he is not healed yet, he lost his balance and fell in the creek twice!! And, we haven't been able to take our camper out this summer at all. Am I out of room yet? So, that is why I should have an apron. Sigh...Love, Janet P.S. And, my son was gone all summer...

I deserve this apron for the following reasons:

1) I've been told that the reason I'm not married is because I don't cook enough.
2) If I had a sexy apron, not only would I cook more, but I would look sexy while doing it so someone might marry me.
3) I need help getting some and you said the apron would do that.
4) I'm pretty sure Grandma cries at night because me and Erin don't have sexy aprons and so will not get married. Do you really want grandma's tears on your conscience?

That is all. Love you! :)

I got Jamison to sign up too. He says, "Tell her my leg aches in the winter" as the reason he should get the apron. I would make him wear it too.

Um hi there! I'm strategically placing my comment HERE (even though I noticed the giveaway yesterday...I just didn't want to be the FIRST commenter because we all know: the first commenter NEVER wins). anywho:
i think i should win your adorably fabulous apron for several reasons. some may include (but are not limited to):
1. our babies are close in age- which means you understand the necessity of wiping up snot and other liquids all day long. an apron would help in that feat.
2. along with number 1, just yesterday, after breakfast, i was all showered and ready for the day, and ellie wiped her awesomely applesauce covered face all over the front of my shirt...a scenario that could've been avoided had i owned one of those adorable aprons.
3. i think it would really solidify our friendship. maybe i could rig my giveaway and you could rig yours and we could win each others. it's literally a win-win. don't worry, i won't tell if you won't.
4. just for confessions sake: i think you are a hilarious writer, an adorable mommy, and a wonderful photographer. i love your fun, creative perspective on life. i'm excited to now be publicly following you (even though i may or may not have been unpublicly following for some time now... :))
5. i think my comment is now the longest. which could be a definite reason to win in itself.
xoxo

REASONS JESSICA DUTY SHOULD WIN:

10.i was born to win this very competition

9.i have the best chant: 'RACH ROCKS! RACH ROCKS!"

8. because i am the worlds biggest loser.. and today is opposite day

7.because im just so darn cute!

6.because i cant ALWAYS loose

5. because we are kindred spirits

4.because you love me

3. because im angie's daughter

2. i'll give you a dollar

and the biggest reason of all:

1. SIMPLE: i'm the best ;)

Darrell Duty said...

i should win the apron because i'm barby-Qing in the nude and dont want to get burned. ....chicken splatters you know!

Jessica said...

i should win again, because i told my daddy to comment, and he did :) 2 points for jessica!

Meagan said...

Of course you are Darrell, and once again why didn't you call me?!!!???

Stef said...

Um, I should win because:

1) Those aprons are so dang cute.

2) I don't feel cute when I cook. It's hard to feel cute with a baby hanging on you crying and you are yelling at your toddler to stop emptying the fridge. A cute apron would be like Calgon in that moment.

3) I would consider wearing my "good clothes" more than a couple times a month if I had a protective barrier (read: apron) for confidence. My kids deserve to see my "good clothes" too.

Crossing my fingers...

I just realized recently that wearing an apron would make my life so much easier. I always manage to get tomato sauce on me (especially when I'm wearing white. What's up with that?). I'd love to get an apron. Thanks for doing this give-away!

Not gonna lie, I'm not that into aprons. I don't cook. You may remember that. BUT HOLY CRAP THOSE APRONS ARE GORGEOUS. They make me feel, like... inspired to cook. Or something. Or maybe I'd just wear one around the house, or turn it into a wicked halloween costume. I don't know.

There are a LOT of people here who deserve it much more. But I thought I'd throw my hat in, if only to let you know that I'm here and I care. It's amazing that you're doing this, and I heart you for it.

That's all. So much love to you and John and the little Dunst. *hugs*

I love your blog! I became a follower even before you started asking people to be a follower!! :) I think I should win because I have two messy boys who get junk on me all the time. In fact, just yesterday I was feeding Jude and he grabbed his spoon (which was full of baby food) and flung it at me. If I had that apron it wouldn't matter, I wouldn't have to change my clothes or anything, just pop that bad boy in the wash!

SJTorres said...

I am a follow too (as of today unfortunatly) but don't hold that against me. I just found this place today when I was searching online for aprons.

I wanted an apron because the last apron I had was when I was little. It was one of my grandmothers. She wore them all the time since she cooked all day long. I have always wanted another, but do I make one, do I buy one? Do I search second hand stores so I could have one similar to hers?? Uggh the headache of trying to decide.

I would love to have one of your aprons, but I am not the richest person in the world either :( But I would promise to love and cherish this apron and wear it as I cook. :)

i'm a follower of this blog now! And i like to win one of those cute aprons as i'm a university student living in a dormitory and i tend to stain my clothes while cooking:) and it's hard for me to wash them whenever i stain them. so this would be of great help to me.

I learned about your giveaway from Violet's blog, not sure if that counts as a referral but...there you go.

I would love an apron because 1. all the ones in her shop look sooooooo cute. 2. I wear an apron 5-7 times a week and mine is in dire need of "repairs" in a pretty bad way. So if I won, it would not go to waste:)

I am now a follower of your blog and wish I had been sooner!

The reason I should win the apron is simple. I have never used an apron before and I do not know the magic that an apron brings. But I do want to know terribly, so will you be the one to pop my apron cherry?

I would love to give you a top ten reason why I should win the apron - but the only reason I can come up with is that I hate to cook and I think this would give me a reason to try.

I'm a new follower. Those aprons are so cute! I need an apron that's cute so that I'll actually wear it, therefore I won't walk around pretty much every day of my life with some form of baking product smeared or splattered across my front.

The reason I should win your contest is simple and it is this: for appearance sake. With the many demands on my time (four children under five, new home, etc.) I have had to learn to perfect the art of microwavable meals. There is something satisfying about having a frozen bag in your hand one minute, and steaming shrimp, linguini, the next (or more accurately, frozen bag one minute, linguini 7-10 minutes later). However, as satisfying as it has become to me, I have noticed a slight deflation in the heart of my husband when I serve him a piping hot meal and he looks behind me to see I have pulled it out of the microwave. An apron would present the perfect decoy, shouting out I cooked all day - without having to actually say it (greasy). Simply said: I could work on closing the door, but in case I forget (like a mother ever forgets anything), the apron would give him enough reason not to look; especially if the apron was all I was wearing.

It's me.. mannequin and I'd love to win the apron. I have but two ragged thrift shop aprons and they certainly won't be passed down. I'm the mom of two boys and I'd love to have an apron worthy of leaving behind. I have an antique cutting board that belonged to my great grandfather, a vintage rolling pin but no apron.
help.

i would love to win an apron!!! I had one inherited from my grandmother, great shape with ruffles too...but it got worn out and ripped n a few places. I'd like to save it for sentimental reasons and start using a spiffy new one!

yours look good enough to wear all day, which would in turn encourage me to cook (i'm a klutz in the kitchen) which would mean more fun for me and healthier meals for everyone! also a cute new apron would make me smile....
