September is here, and at my house that means Halloween is going up in full force. This is my favorite holiday, so I like to drag it out as long as possible. I guess it is one of my creative hobbies.
This year we are doing a funeral home outside, so I brought the theme inside.I have almost no budget, so I worked with what I had.
I bought some cream light card stock and printed off vintage poison and pharmaceutical labels. Then stuck them on all the empty glass things around the house. I was going for the look of embalming and preservation materials.
I also gathered up some spooky 19th century photos on Google images, and put them in frames.
Inside the various jars I put water, apple juice, white grape juice and whatever else was in the fridge. I stayed away from food coloring in case something spills.I threw some spices in other containers. I went with cinnamon, nutmeg and pumpkin pie spices. It smells great!
