Happy New Year

Goodbye diet coke and sugar. Hello headaches and sluggishness for a week or two. Worth it? Yes.

Random Ronan

I took pictures of my friends Missy's kids the other day. Ronan came along and I got some quick snaps of him too. He had a great time with friends to play with. It was also warm enough to play outside a little. He was in heaven.

Sweet Napper

Now that Ronan is older I take less pictures. I find myself watching over his sleeping form less often, not because I grow tired of him but because I have grown accustomed to him.
But he still leaves me in awe.
Today I crept into his room to cover him with his blanket during nap time.
He was so beautiful.
I had to snap some pictures. It has been a while since I took photos of him sleeping.

What We Have Been Up To...

Nana was here for Thanksgiving. Ronan loves his Nana. He says "Nana?" all day
.

Ronan discovered that he loves it when daddy gives him a bath. I guess it is a lot more fun that when Mommy does. The entire time I am bathing him I am saying, "Sit down Ronan, the bath is not a good place to stand up. You will fall."
Dads are a lot more chill.

Daddy turned 30. Rona had a great time with all the balloons, or "balloo" as he calls them.
John had his 30th birthday dinner at the Bombay House with a lot of friends and family.
I made him that cake. Looks like a drum, right? Crafty.

Ronan and I embraced our inner nerd with Auntie's glasses. Ronan encourages you to take a little time with your inner nerd too.

Ronan also learned that pens are fun with Daddy.
What have you been up to?

Giving Thanks & Turkeys

I know, I know. I have been sucking at the blog thing lately. Okay, I give. I am sorry. So here are some way late Thanksgiving pictures.

In my little family I have started a bit of a tradition known as the "Thanksgiving Day Turkey Hat".

I know I am weird but Thanksgiving needed a little spice and I had construction paper.

This year my turkey had a little accident on my nose. Here we are posing in our Turkey Day best.

Max refused the hat, but was cool with a clip on tie.

Daddy and Ronan did not choose to have hats. Maybe it is a women only tradition?

Stink's boyfriend came over for some sweet Mario cart. He and I took a "cool people wear glasses" picture. We are cool, just look at us.

Ronan was licked to death by the dog post turkey so he needed a bath.

We ended the day with a little snuggle time on the couch. Ronan was in heaven with all of the attention lavished on him by Nana and Auntie Stink.

It was a good day.

Especially for the dogs. John gave them ALL the leftover turkey. They ate it right off the bones. Gross.

**If you noticed all the outfit changes that happened for various people during this "one day" you are smart. These pictures actually sum up three or four days surrounding Thanksgiving....
Just trying to tell a little cohesie story here on the 'ol blog...
